Nokia’s campaign Search for N is certainly hotting up. In a nutshell, if you solve 5 cryptic clues, and you’re amongst the first 10 to do so in the UK, Nokia will tell you where they’ve hidden one of seven N97’s around the UK. There are other versions of the campaign running in 12 more countries too. Click here to find out more.
Intriguing stuff!
Anyway, being a busy man, I decided to ask lots of my friends on Facebook about clue 2, which seemed really cryptic.
One clever chap has replied – I call him my intrepid assistant for fun
Here’s my intrepid assistant’s thinking:
“Okay, these are all the things I have worked out so far. Each box has all the options of what it could be. I’ve managed to translate most of it, but the blank boxes represent countries.
I think the flags represent the first letter in the beginning of the country.
-
- -the dots and dashes are the phonic alphabet
- -the numbers are ASCII codes
- -the sets of six dots are Braille
- -the flags are nautical
I think thats about it ![]()
hope this helped.”
