Search for N - Solution to Clue 2?

Nokia’s campaign Search for N is certainly hotting up. In a nutshell, if you solve 5 cryptic clues, and you’re amongst the first 10 to do so in the UK, Nokia will tell you where they’ve hidden one of seven N97’s around the UK. Anyway, being a busy man, I decided to ask lots of my friends on Facebook about clue 2, which seemed really cryptic.

One clever chap has replied – I call him my intrepid assistant for fun

Here’s my intrepid assistant’s thinking:

“Okay, these are all the things I have worked out so far. Each box has all the options of what it could be. I’ve managed to translate most of it, but the blank boxes represent countries.

I think the flags represent the first letter in the beginning of the country.

• • -the dots and dashes are the phonic alphabet
  • -the numbers are ASCII codes
  • -the sets of six dots are Braille
  • -the flags are nautical

I think thats about it
